Come join us for another Young Adults retreat with Rev Dr Brian Kachelmeier. Brian has just started a new call as Associate Pastor of Crown of Life Lutheran in San Antonio. He is the host of the radio show Redeemer Theological Academy, a frequent guest on Issues, Etc., and Thy Strong Word radio programs.

We’re pleased to announce that Rev. Dr. Juhana Pohjola, bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Mission Diocese of Finland and Rev. Dr. John Stephenson, former principal of Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary (CLTS) in Canada are holding evening and day sessions across Australia from 23rd November – 2nd December 2023.

Catering for the day events is now free!

BIBLE STUDY – MAN UP

Pastor Jeffrey Hemmer will go through the topics of his book ‘Man Up’ on this weekend retreat. “This book is a call to fix your eyes and your hope on the Man up on the cross and to find in His selfless sacrifice the perfect example for manliness in our self-indulgent, self-centered society. That’s where Man Up! really stands out in the crowd. Don’t pick up these pages expecting to find an ideal man you should strive to be. This book is anchored in a different ideal. In the person of Jesus Christ, God became man. What Adam lost in his rebellion; Jesus restored in His Incarnation. Jesus is the perfect man. His example sets the paradigm for perfect masculinity. But more importantly, His sacrifice obtains forgiveness and mercy for the rest of us men who are bound to fail in this God-given task to be good men”.

Men Led by God is for young men of Victoria but is open to Men of all ages from all over Australia. It is held at Tandara Lutheran Campsite at Halls Gap, Grampians, Victoria.

Come along to the 2023 Young Adults Retreat.

The retreat is a fully catered event in shared dorm accommodation held over a weekend at Tandara Lutheran Campsite in Halls Gap, and is hosted by Creative Word Fellowship.
We will be led through 10 studies on the topic ‘Created in God’s image’, with morning and evening worship.
There is plenty of free time for walks, hiking, rock climbing, sightseeing, games and resting.

These are important questions. Often controversial ones as well. The world seems to have run out of good answers. Is there a way how we as Christians can bless our fellow humans with answers rooted in divine wisdom? Most Certainly there is.

Come and join us as we explore how Christians can provide rich and beautiful Scripture based answers to these existential questions.

Tickets are $230 per person for the full weekend (including catering and accommodation). There is a discounted price of $215 for students who are able to display their student card when they attend the conference. The cost for Children under 18 is $45 per child for the full weekend. Student rates are also available for student family groups.

The campsite is fully catered, with bunkbed dormitory accommodation. Bedding is not provided so please bring along your own pillow and bedding / sleeping bag. Arrival time is 4pm onwards on the Thursday where you can join other retreat attendees for a social night, pub meal (cost not included in retreat price) and games.

No creche is available, but accompanied children are welcome. There is an air-conditioned room available with a live video feed that families can use if they wish.
