Study Topic: Biblical Inerrancy and the Lutheran Confessions

Study Leaders: Pastor Heath Pukallus & Pastor Mathew Ker

The catchcry of the Lutheran Church is built on four maxims: Grace alone, Faith alone, Christ alone, Scripture alone. Yet in the Lutheran Church today we find ourselves at loggerheads with other Lutherans in our social climate. God’s Word remains the plumb line by which God’s people and the Church are measured (Amos 7:7-8). At one and the same time this provides warning and comfort. The Lutheran Confessions affirm with confidence and certainty both the authority of God’s Word. and how we read and hear this Word as both Law and Gospel. This distinction keeps us turning back to God in repentance so we can receive his gracious and boundless forgiveness. In these studies, Pastor Heath Pukallus and Pastor Mathew Ker will investigate the history of God’s salvation in the Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions to see how humanity constantly needs to be brought back from standing in authority over God’s Word, to standing under God’s Word. Now we can understand how Grace. Faith. Christ, and Scripture alone function in the lives of those seeking to remain faithful to God our Father, following the way of Jesus Christ, and live a life of peace in submission to the work of the Holy Spirit.

Speak Lord – Hamilton / Adelaide – Pr Brian Kachelmeier

We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

Pop up Speak Lord conferences.

We are please to announce that we have Pastor Brian Kachelmeier presenting at our Young Adults retreat, after the retreat we will be taking him on a brief speaking tour to Hamilton and Adelaide.

Adelaide: St Mark’s Lutheran Church Underdale: 27th Jan 0900-5pm – A full day conference for all.
Christ and the Conscience in connection with the Creation and Redemption accounts.
Catered and free – Donations for event are welcome.

The main presentation will be on Genesis 1-3, 6-9, 17-19, 28, 31, 35, 49, 50 and Exodus 1-4, 6, 7, 12-16, 20, 24, 31-35, 40 and Deuteronomy 18. We will be looking at creation and redemption as set forth in the Scripture by the prophet Moses.
The secondary presentation will be on Isaiah 1, 9, 12, 35, 40, 42, 44-46, 52-53. We will talk about creation and redemption as it is related to the conscience. The conscience connects us to the Creator. As part of this fallen creation, the conscience alerts us of the separation caused by sin. However, the Creator does not leave us dead in our sin; He comes into His creation to bring redemption and restoration. The Gospel message overrules the condemnation of the conscience.

Christ is both the Creator and Redeemer. He is the rightful King of the Conscience.”
